From the phosphate mines in Florida to the soybean fields in China, Mosaic maintains a truly global presence. We have key distribution facilities in 11 countries, servicing customers in 33 countries around the world.
Our principal phosphate production facilities are located in Florida and Louisiana. These facilities also produce animal feed phosphates including monocalcium phosphate or MONOCAL, dicalcium phosphate or DICAL, and industrial products such as fluorosilic acid or FSA.
Our potash production facilities are located in New Mexico, Michigan and Saskatchewan, Canada. Mosaic is also a 50 percent owner in Saskatchewan-based Saskferco Products, Inc., one of the world's most efficient nitrogen production facilities. We also have equity interests in phosphate production facilities in the key growth markets of Brazil and China.
Because of these facilities and production capabilities, Mosaic maintains a nearly 14 percent share of global phosphate capacity, while our global potash capacity share stands at approximately 15 percent.
