CROP NUTRITION:
Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP) 11-52-0

Spec Sheet MSDS

MAP has been an important phosphate fertilizer for many years. It is completely water-soluble and generally is applied in granular form. It is commonly used in the formulation of suspension fertilizers. As a granular material it mixes well with other fertilizers and frequently serves as an ingredient in bulk blended fertilizers.

MAP, with its low pH levels, is best used for high alkaline soils. It is an ideal starter fertilizer since MAP does not break down into ammonia that damages seeds and young growth.

The most common delivery modes for MAP are truck, railcar, barge or vessel. The mode is determined by customer needs and geography.
