Sulfuric Acid
Sulfuric acid is used for many different industrial/chemical processes. These include the manufacture of rayon, coke, pulp and paper, paints, soaps, phosphoric acid and detergent. It is used in the chemical processing of explosives and batteries (lead-acid type), metal descaling and metal processing and refining. Sulfuric acid also is used in water treatment to adjust pH, and to control corrosion and scaling.
