CROP NUTRITION:
K-MagŪ Standard 0-0-22
(22% K2O,11% Mg and 22% S) has a typical SGN of 95 and is primarily used for direct application as well as a key ingredient in many granulation facilities.
Low Chloride Content
The maximum chloride content is typically below three percent, minimizing the potential for fertilizer "burn." Thus, K-MagŪ Standard is widely used on sensitive vegetable and fruit crops requiring high fertilizer rates, and on other crops such as tobacco, for example, which have a high potassium and magnesium demand, yet are sensitive to chloride.
Non-Acidifying
K-MagŪ Standard is neutral in pH and does not contribute to additional soil acidity.
Water Soluble Form
K-MagŪ Standard is in the water soluble sulfate form; providing potassium, magnesium and sulfur in a form readily absorbed by plants. Yet, because of its crystalline nature, K-MagŪ Standard dissolves gradually throughout the growing season, thus providing a continuous source of nutrients.
Replacement of K, Mg and S
Potassium, magnesium and sulfur are three basic nutrients essential for plant growth and are vital to profitable crop production. They are continually removed from the soil by high-yield crop production and, in the case of sulfur and magnesium, are not replaced by many of today's high-analysis fertilizers.
Balanced Fertilization
Crop producers worldwide have reported extra profit from K-MagŪ when using it to help balance a good fertility program. Exact monetary benefits from using K-MagŪ depends on crop, cropping systems, soil type, degree of nutrient deficiencies, previous cropping methods and climatic conditions during the growing season.
