Sample Pic Nearly 300 Mosaic employees and contractor representatives filled the Palmetto Club at FishHawk Ranch to recognize those contractors who demonstrate Mosaic’s commitment to safety leadership and performance and the relentless pursuit of an injury free workplace. To be eligible for an award, contractors were required to have worked more than 5,000 hours per year at Mosaic facilities.

“Mosaic is committed to the relentless pursuit of an injury free workplace and our contractors play a significant role in achieving that goal,” said Taylor Abel, Assistant Vice President-Safety. “With the number of outside contractors who work at our operations, it is vital that they embrace a culture of safety and share responsibility for protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers and communities. The contractors we recognized at our Contractor Safety Luncheon have all demonstrated superior safety performance.”

Over 20 companies representing the highest standards of safety performance in the categories of: Field Services/Earthmoving/Heavy Equipment/Water Blasting; Mechanical/ Electrical/Lining and General Services were recognized at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels. "Honorable Mention" was designated to all other companies that worked more than 5,000 hours and achieved a zero incident rate and safety index.
