Sample Pic Brent Mensch, purchasing assistant at Mosaic’s Colonsay facility, was named Campaign Volunteer of the Year for his exceptional commitment and leadership, becoming the first-ever Mosaic employee to receive the award.

Mensch has been involved with Mosaic Colonsay’s United Way efforts for several years. This year, he served as co-chair of Mosaic’s North American United Way campaign, as well as co-chair of the Colonsay campaign, which grew more than $90,000 in just one year.

Colonsay General Manger, David Waugh, was also recognized for his role as campaign chair. This year marks the most successful fundraising campaign in the history of the United Way of Saskatoon & Area. At $5.7 million, the campaign realized a year-over-year increase of nearly 16 percent.

“I am so inspired by the generosity of those that supported their community through the United Way” said Waugh. “They saw the need in our community and they responded.”
