This year, Mosaic President and CEO Jim Prokopanko and his wife, Bonnie McPhee, serve as co-chairs of the Greater Twin Cities United Way campaign. The couple met with many United Way partner agencies, and worked alongside them to serve clients—bringing news of the persistent need in our communities back to Mosaic.
With more than 70 percent of eligible North American employees contributing to the campaign, our annual United Way effort is a source of pride across the company—and earned accolades externally from United Way Worldwide. Gifts will again be matched dollar-for-dollar by The Mosaic Company Foundation.
As the largest charity in the world, United Way offers global reach with local expertise, and addresses the root causes of poverty. Each year, approximately one in six people receive help from United Way and its community partners in the areas of education, income and health.
With employees’ help, Mosaic and United Way are creating opportunities for better lives in our communities. We encourage and support employees' efforts to enrich communities all around the world, and value our partnerships with local organizations that make a difference.
Here’s to a successful 2013 campaign!
