This donation will help support the community, including nine Illinois-based Mosaic employees, and numerous customers and farmers who were affected.

The Mosaic Company Foundation today announced a $25,000 donation to provide immediate relief to Midwesterners impacted by recent tornados. The funds were given to the American Red Cross to help provide safe shelter, meals and support to the community.

“Mosaic cares about the well-being of our employees and their families, as well as customers, farmers and all of those affected in Illinois,” said Rick McLellan of The Mosaic Company Foundation Board of Directors and Senior Vice President – Commercial, The Mosaic Company. “This contribution helps the American Red Cross continue its efforts fulfilling people’s basic needs and providing support as communities recover from the devastation.”

This contribution underscores The Mosaic Company Foundation’s commitment to building partnerships that enrich the long-term strength of communities in which Mosaic has offices and operations. Headquartered in Plymouth, Minn., Mosaic operates a crop nutrient warehouse in Pekin, Illinois.
