Streamsong Resort’s Third Golf Course, Streamsong Black, Opens to the Public

The new Streamsong Black golf course was recently unveiled to golf media from across the globe and special guests, and it is now open to the public. The Gil Hanse-designed Streamsong Black course was a much anticipated complement to Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue, both of which are already recognized as two of the nation’s top-100 courses.

Unlike Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue’s intertwined layouts, Streamsong Black stands alone, stretching across a much larger landscape with far-reaching sightlines across the property.

"From this expansive sandy site, Gil and his team have uncovered a dramatic course that fits its bold landscape and flows as if it has been here for years," said Rich Mack, EVP and CFO, Mosaic. "Streamsong Black elevates the resort’s golfing experience, now with three must-play courses that will rival the best golf venues in the world."

The new course also has its own clubhouse. Sitting on one of the property’s high points, the Clubhouse at Streamsong Black features floor-to-ceiling windows and includes the Bone Valley Tavern, the resort’s fifth full-service dining venue. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of specialty ales, spirits and entrees with sweeping views of the dramatic landscape, including The Gauntlet, a two-acre putting course located just outside.

Like the rest of the property, Streamsong Black is a showcase for how The Mosaic Company is transforming reclaimed land for future use and creating a model for economic and environmental sustainability.
