Fredric W. Corrigan

Fredric W. Corrigan, Chief Executive Officer and President

Fredric W. Corrigan, Chief Executive Officer, most recently served as executive vice president of Cargill, Incorporated, chairman of the board of Cargill Fertilizer, Inc., chairman of the Cargill Corporate Business Excellence Committee and as a member of Cargill's Corporate Leadership Team and Corporate Public Affairs Committee. After joining Cargill in 1966, he held various positions, including president of Cargill's Fertilizer Division, Cargill Worldwide Fertilizer and Cargill's Agriculture-Biosciences Group. Mr. Corrigan serves as a director of several Cargill joint ventures and is a past director of The Fertilizer Institute, the Potash & Phosphate Institute and the Florida Phosphate Council. He holds a B.S. degree in economics from Dartmouth College.

James T. Thompson

James T. Thompson, Executive Vice President

James T. Thompson was previously president of Cargill Steel. Mr. Thompson joined Cargill in 1974 as a trainee before moving to C. Tennant, Sons & Co., where he became vice president in 1981. In 1986 he was named vice president of Cargill Ferrous International, the name under which Tennant operations were reorganized that year. He subsequently held leadership positions at Cargill U.K. Limited and North Star Steel and was named executive vice president of Cargill Steel in 1994. He is a board member of the Steel Manufacturers Association, the Metals Service Center Institute and the International Iron and Steel Institute, and is a former director of the Business Economics Education Foundation. Mr. Thompson has a B.S. degree in business and agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Lawrence W. Stranghoener

Lawrence W. Stranghoener, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Lawrence W. Stranghoener joined Mosaic in September 2004 from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans where he had been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Stranghoener spent 17 years at Honeywell Inc. where he served in a variety of positions in the U.S. and in Europe, including three years as Chief Financial Officer until Honeywell’s merger with AlliedSignal in 1999. Mr. Stranghoener started his career as an Investment Analyst at Dain Rauscher. He is a director of Kennametal Inc. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he holds a B.A. degree from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Norman B. Beug

Norman B. Beug, Vice President, Potash Operations

Norman B. Beug previously served as the vice president and general manager of IMC Global, Inc.'s (IMC) Potash Business Unit. Mr. Beug began his career in the potash industry in 1977 and has held various supervisory and management positions, including being general manager of IMC's Potash Belle Plaine facility. Mr. Beug is a past president of The Saskatchewan Mining Association (SMA) and a past chairman of the Canadian Fertilizer Institute (CFI). He currently serves as the director of the CFI and the Saskatchewan Potash Producers Association (SPPA). Mr. Beug holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

Donald F. “Fred” Gill

Donald F. “Fred” Gill, President and CEO Saskferco Products Inc. Regina, Saskatchewan

Donald F. “Fred” Gill was named president and CEO of Saskferco Products Inc. in 1999. He joined Saskferco in 1990 as vice president manufacturing at the beginning of construction of the Saskferco ammonia/urea plant in Belle Plaine. Before joining Saskferco, Mr. Gill held various senior management and engineering positions with ammonia, urea, ammonium nitrate and grain processing plants across the southern and midwestern United States, including 13 years with Arcadian (now PCS Nitrogen). He serves on the board of directors of the Canadian Fertilizer Institute and the US Fertilizer Institute. Mr. Gill holds a B.S. degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska.

Richard L. Mack

Richard L. Mack, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Richard L. Mack previously served as a senior attorney in Cargill, Incorporated's worldwide law department, where he had worked since joining Cargill in 1994. His responsibilities included providing strategic counsel on commercial, operational and strategic matters for several Cargill Business Units, including Crop Nutrition. He has significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and equity transactions. Before joining Cargill, Mr. Mack was counsel for administrative divisions at Norwest Corporation. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar, the Hennepin County Bar and the American Corporate Counsel Associations. Mr. Mack holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Minnesota State University-Moorhead and a Juris Doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law.

David W. Wessling

David W. Wessling, Vice President, Human Resources

David W. Wessling previously held the position of Vice President of North American Human Resources and Global HR Shared Services for Cargill, Incorporated. Mr. Wessling started his career with Cargill in 1984, and has worked in several of their business areas including Meat Solutions in Wichita, Kansas, Sun Valley Foods in Hereford, England, and the Poultry Products Division in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Wessling has a Bachelor of General Studies degree in personnel administration from the University of Kansas.

Steven L. Pinney

Steven L. Pinney, Senior Vice President, Phosphate Operations

Steven L. Pinney previously was a senior vice president of Cargill, Incorporated, and leader of Cargill's Phosphate Production Business Unit. He also served as president of Cargill Fertilizer, Inc. After joining Cargill in 1976 he held plant engineering positions in Cargill's Oilseeds Processing and Fertilizer businesses, including vice president of operations for Cargill's Florida mining and manufacturing operations. Mr. Pinney also was business unit leader for Phosphate Production, including Cargill's fertilizer operations in Brazil and China. He is a director and immediate past chairman for the United Way of Central Florida and director and chairman for Prevent Blindness Florida. Mr. Pinney holds a B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology.

Linda Thrasher

Linda K. Thrasher, Vice President, Public Affairs

Linda Thrasher previously served as the director of Public Policy for Cargill, Incorporated's, Washington, D.C. office. She has handled extensive legislative and regulatory issues for Cargill's fertilizer, salt and steel businesses and has spent significant time working on environmental and trade issues. Prior to joining Cargill in 1994, Ms. Thrasher worked for Congressman Jim Nussle (R-IA) on agriculture, trade and environmental matters, and also served as legal counsel for Congressman Fred Grandy (R-IA). She holds a B.A. degree from the College of St. Catherine (St. Paul, Minnesota) and a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
