Community Investment
Community Giving
The Mosaic Company and The Mosaic Company Foundation make investments in our global communities through philanthropic funding, employee engagement and in-kind product donations.
Mosaic’s global giving is tied to three focus areas:
- Food: Food security and agricultural development
- Water: Water security, conservation, and protection
- Local community investments: Locally-determined needs in the communities in which Mosaic has an operational footprint.
While not one of the three focus areas, Mosaic occasionally responds to global disaster relief needs, specifically when key stakeholders are impacted. These gifts support emergency response needs and are not eligible for the formal application processes.
Mosaic participates in many types of giving opportunities: grants, sponsorships, national and global partnerships, employee volunteering, workplace giving, the donation of expertise (e.g., agronomy and logistics), product donations, university research and investments in socially-focused enterprises.
Mosaic’s support of communities is aligned with the specific needs of the various geographic locations where Mosaic has locations. Interested applicants should first determine their geographic reach which impacts the applicable focus areas.
