In fact, The Mosaic Company and The Mosaic Company Foundation donated more than $10.6 million to organizations serving Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, DeSoto, Sarasota and Charlotte counties during the fiscal year ended May 31, 2013. For more than a century, Florida’s phosphate industry has been a major economic driver for the Tampa Bay and Central Florida region through employment, taxes and charitable contributions.
