Mosaic in Louisiana

Mosaic’s Louisiana operations in St. James Parish produce nutrients needed to enrich crops and help farmers increase their harvests. Together, our Faustina and Uncle Sam phosphate production facilities employ nearly 400 people while generating hundreds of other jobs that depend on our operations. Our employees work safely and efficiently to produce crop nutrients essential for farmers to increase the health, strength and abundance of their harvests.

At Mosaic, we’re building sustainable practices into every aspect of our business. From new product development and reclamation, to cogeneration and rigorous safety programs, Mosaic’s focus on sustainability forms the roots of our success.

Beyond our commitment to safety and environmental sustainability, we embrace a high level of engagement in the communities in the Mississippi River Parishes. Our support extends to programs that focus on feeding communities, supporting education, safeguarding wildlife and protecting critical resources.
