James T. Prokopanko, President and Chief Executive Officer

James T. Prokopanko, President and Chief Executive Officer Jim T. Prokopanko became President and Chief Executive Officer of The Mosaic Company in 2007. He joined Mosaic as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2006. Previously, Prokopanko was a Corporate Vice President at Cargill, Inc., where he had executive responsibility for procurement and served as a leader of the Cargill Ag Producer Services Platform. After joining Cargill in 1978, he served in a wide range of leadership positions, including Vice President of the North American crop inputs business. During his Cargill career, Prokopanko was engaged in retail agriculture businesses in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Argentina and the United Kingdom. In addition to his role as President and CEO of Mosaic, Prokopanko serves on the board of directors for Mosaic, Canpotex, the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, the Fertilizer Institute and the International Plant Nutrition Institute.


Gary "Bo" Davis, Senior Vice President, Phosphate Operations

Gary "Bo" Davis, Senior Vice President, Phosphate Operations Bo Davis has been with Mosaic since the company's launch in 2004. Initially, he was the Vice President of Mining and, in 2007, was promoted to Vice President, Phosphate Operations for all of Mosaic's Florida and Louisiana operations. In the decade prior to Mosaic's formation, Davis held several positions at Cargill, Inc., including Vice President, Operations for the fertilizer division. He has worked in the crop nutrient industry for more than 30 years. Davis serves on the board of directors for the Central Florida United Way and is the Vice Chair of the Florida Phosphate Committee of Continuous Existence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management and a technical degree in electronic technology.


Mark E. Kaplan, Vice President, Public Affairs

Mark E. Kaplan, Vice President, Public Affairs Mark E. Kaplan joined Mosaic in 2007 and was promoted to Vice President, Public Affairs in 2011. He previously led Mosaic’s Florida public affairs team. Prior to joining Mosaic, Kaplan served as Chief of Staff for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Before that he held roles as President and General Counsel of Carlisle Development Group, LLC and Executive Director of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation. He was also a shareholder in the law firm Katz, Kutter, Haigler, Alderman, Bryant & Yon, P.A. Kaplan earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in political science from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor with highest honors from Florida State University College of Law, graduating first in his class.


Richard L. Mack, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Richard L. Mack, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Rich L. Mack, Executive Vice President, has served as Mosaic's General Counsel since the company’s launch in 2004. In the decade prior to Mosaic's formation, he served in various legal capacities at Cargill, Inc., and was a founding executive of Mosaic and Cargill Ventures. At Mosaic, Mack also provides executive oversight to Mosaic's land development and permitting organizations. Mack has significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and equity transactions. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar, the Florida Council of 100 and serves on the board of trustees at Hamline University. Mack holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, a Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.


Richard N. McLellan, Senior Vice President, Commercial

Richard N. McLellan, Senior Vice President, Commercial Rick N. McLellan is Senior Vice President, Commercial for The Mosaic Company. Previously he held several roles for the company, including Vice President, North American Sales and Country Manager for Mosaic Fertilizantes in Brazil. Before serving as Country Manager, McLellan had leadership responsibility for fertilizer distribution, import and production in Brazil. Prior to the formation of Mosaic, he held various roles in Cargill, Inc.'s Canadian and U.S. operations, including grain, retail and wholesale fertilizer distribution. McLellan began his career in Ontario, Canada, with American Cyanamid in 1978. He is a graduate of Brock University, St. Catharine's, Ontario.


James "Joc" O’Rourke, Executive Vice President, Operations

James "Joc" O’Rourke, Executive Vice President, Operations Joc O'Rourke joined Mosaic as Executive Vice President, Operations in 2009. Previously, O'Rourke was President, Australia Pacific for Barrick Gold, the largest gold producer in Australia. He was responsible for the Australia Pacific business unit, consisting of gold and copper mines in Australia and Papua New Guinea. O'Rourke has more than 25 years of experience in mining and processing operations and has held senior management roles in Canada, Papua New Guinea and Australia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mining and mineral engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and an executive MBA from the INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.


Corrine D. Ricard, Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Corrine D. Ricard, Senior Vice President, Human Resources Corrine Ricard was named Senior Vice President, Human Resources in April 2012.   Previously, Ricard held leadership positions at Mosaic including Vice President of International Sales and Distribution, Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Supply Chain and Risk Management.  Ricard has more than 20 years of agriculture experience. Prior to Mosaic, Ricard worked for Cargill in various roles including,  risk management, supply chain and commodity trading. Ricard earned her bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Minnesota, an MBA in strategic planning from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Ricard is currently on the board of the Freshwater Society and is a member of the Minnesota Women's Economic Roundtable.


Lawrence W. Stranghoener, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Lawrence W. Stranghoener, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Larry W. Stranghoener, Chief Financial Officer, joined The Mosaic Company in 2004. Prior to joining Mosaic, Stranghoener served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Before that, Stranghoener spent 17 years at Honeywell, Inc. where he served in a variety of positions in the United States and Europe, including three years as Chief Financial Officer. Stranghoener started his career as an Investment Analyst at Dain Rauscher. He serves on the board of directors for Kennametal Inc., Aleris International, Inc. and Aleris Holding Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Northwestern University.
