Mosaic Crop Nutrition has acquired Lucier Chemical Industries (LCI).
Mosaic Crop Nutrition, LLC, a subsidiary of The Mosaic Company, is pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of Lucier Chemical Industries (LCI).
Mosaic has been LCI's largest supplier of Fluorosilicic Acid (FSA) for over 25 years and has developed a thorough understanding of the North American FSA market.
The acquisition will combine two market leaders: Mosaic, the largest North American producer of FSA, and LCI, the largets FSA distributor to the North American water treatment market. The acquisition is scheduled to close on December 30, 2010.
