Clear Space For visibility, impact and overall integrity, it’s important to retain a designated clear space around the Mosaic logo. The minimum clear area around the logo is shown below. This area is designated as being equal to the height of the “M” in the logo. Clear space above the logo should begin at the top of the “M” and should never be intersected or intruded upon by any other graphic object or edge. Nor should the logo be enclosed in a shape such as a square or circle. Maintain this clear space in all uses to give the logo the proper “breathing room” to visually stand out.

The height of the M is used as a guide for defining clear space. |
| The Mosaic logo should not be placed within a graphic shape. |
Minimum Size
The Mosaic logo should never be used smaller than 3/4" wide from the left side of the M to the top right corner of the c.

Full-color Mosaic Logo on Backgrounds The full-color Mosaic logo was designed to be used against a white or light neutral background. A white background is preferred, but a light, neutral background such as a light area of a photo is acceptable. Be sure to apply clear space rules when positioning the logo on a photo.

Use the solid-black logo in these cases. |
| Be sure the background of photos are light and neutral in color to provide sufficient contrast with the
full-color Mosaic logo. Keep elements of the photo away from the logo in order to maintain clear space regulations. |
