Promotional Items
When the Mosaic logo appears consistently on merchandise and wearables, such as hard hats, sweatshirts, and key chains, it helps promote and strengthen recognition of the Mosaic brand. You will encounter a wide range of materials in unusual shapes and many fabrication processes, creating a variety of production challenges.

Selecting Items:
It’s important to keep in mind that when we wear an item or give one to a customer, employee, investor or community member, we want them to be reminded of who Mosaic is and what we stand for each time they see or use the item. Therefore, it is important that the promotional item reflects our brand.

Ask yourself the following questions when choosing items:

1) Is the item consistent with what our brand stands for?

2) Does the item support who we are as a global, diverse company? In other words, be sure the item does not exclude or offend a particular country, culture, race or religion.

3) Is the item high-quality and professional-looking? Does it look like something an industry leader would offer?

4) Is it appropriate for your audience? In other words, if your target audience does not typically work on a computer, a mouse pad would be inappropriate.

5) Will our logo reproduce well on the item? For instance, our logo does not have the prominence it should when it is used on a busy or patterned background.

If you’ve answered “yes” to the above questions, the item is most likely a good choice.

Approved Logos
Use the approved full-color logo whenever possible. You may also use a tone-on-tone logo for promotional items only. See below for examples.

Applying the Full-Color Logo
Select items where the full-color logo will look its best, by selecting items with a white or light, neutral-colored background as shown below. Important: Be sure that the colors in the logo can be reproduced accurately.

Colored Thread:
Selecting thread that matches the colors in the logo is important in maintaining a strong identity. Be sure to refer to the color palette section of these guidelines and the most recent version of the PANTONE® color formula guide to ensure an accurate match.

Hard Hats:
New hard hats that are purchased look best in white. The Mosaic full-color logo can be applied to the hat by printing the logo on a white or clear decal/label. Note: For existing yellow hats, apply the logo by printing it on a white decal/label.

Applying the Solid-Black or Solid-White Reverse Logo
When the colors of the Mosaic logo cannot be reproduced accurately, or when applying the logo to items with surfaces or colors that do not provide sufficient contrast with the colors in the logo, use the solid-black or white-reverse logo versions.

Creating a Tone-on-tone Logo
Create a tone-on-tone look by etching, embossing or embroidering the logo on the surface of the promotional object.

Important: This is for use on promotional items only.
