We have made no significant acquisitions since Mosaic's formation. We define "significant acquisition" to mean an investment that moved Mosaic into a position of ownership in another entity. Our review of potential opportunities to acquire or invest in businesses includes an evaluation of country risk with guidance from an outside advisory firm. Mosaic intends to integrate human rights criteria more explicitly in screening any potential acquisitions. |

We impose high expectations on our suppliers and contractors around environmental and occupational safety, and we actively monitor their performance as it relates to Mosaic's business. Mosaic and the contractors who at our work sites are committed in providing a safe workplace to all Mosaic and contractor employees, including a workplace free of violence and the influence of illegal drugs and alcohol. Mosaic has adopted certain policies governing the safety of its workplace and directed to the elimination of illegal drugs and alcohol from its workplace. By contract, each of our contractors agrees that it has a responsibility to ensure that its employees assigned to Mosaic's workplace comply with Mosaic's environmental, health and safety policies, refrain from violence or other dangerous behavior, and remain free from the influence of illegal drugs and alcohol on Mosaic's property. We actively monitor our contractors' performance through an audit process. We do not currently review other aspects of our suppliers' or contractors' human rights performance. |

Our corporate security is designed to protect our employees, contractors, guests and neighbors, as well as the environment. Mosaic has hired third party security firms in many of our significant operations. We have 100% training compliance with all security personnel regarding Mosaic's policies as they relate to the security and safety of our significant operations and the people there.
