Our Geographic Diversity
We are strategically positioned to sustainably serve the world’s most promising agricultural areas.  North America BusinessMosaic’s North America Business includes potash and phosphate facilities located in the U.S., Canada and Peru. The integrated business features seven potash and phosphate mining facilities primarily located in Saskatchewan, Florida and Peru, along with five phosphate concentrates sites in Louisiana and Florida. Our products account for 73% and 40% of North America's phosphate and potash annual production, respectively.  South America BusinessMosaic's South America Business includes potash and phosphates facilities across Brazil and in Paraguay. With head offices in São Paulo, Brazil, Mosaic Fertilizantes has regional commercial units and production, as well as port and storage units in many parts of the country, including 13 facilities, 7 tolls, 1 port terminal and 6.6 million tons of blending capacity.  Strategic Joint VenturesWith 75% ownership, Mosaic is the operating partner of Miski Mayo phosphate mining company joint venture. Our annual share of phosphate rock is approximately 3 million tonnes, which contributes to our overall fertilizer production needs. Our Ma'aden Wa'ad Al Shamal Phosphate Company joint venture in Saudi Arabia offers low-cost phosphate production with strategic proximity to croplands in Asia, including India's 179 million hectares. |
